Silver plated wires in audio cables generally tend to sound too bright, and sometimes even harsh. The DH Labs cables have less of this than most silver plated, perhaps because of metal ;purity, or the cladding proces they use (as opposed to actual plating). However, unless the silver plated cable is one of the brands/models that takes the extra care necessary to keep the plating from becoming a huge sonic problem, the sound can be less neutral overall than simple copper.
Given your sonic description of the T-14, it looks like you would like going to an all copper cable, as long as it has good construction materials.
Along those lines, and wanting to keep the detail factor up there, look for a low inductance all-copper design, such as the Kimber 4TC or 8TC, as well as other cables known for their low inductance. Be sure to keep an eye on the capacitance though, your amp may not be able to handle the ultra-high capacitance cables, of which the Goertz is a member of.
