I am considering that. I am in an experimental phase now.
I am not sure but I may have introduced a little more
hum than the stock cables had. I know that you and
alot of fellas here roll your own cables. I have a
question... The AR cables I butchered were the notorious
$20 miracle cables that Sam Tellig bragged about. They
were decent cables for $18. These cables were directional.
They had a drain wire inside of the foil shield that was
connected only on the source end. When I soldered the
ends onto the terminal block on the table I did NOT
attach the drain the to negative of each channel.
Do you think attaching the drain will help or increase
the hum I am hearing??? Or improve the sound??Thanks in advance,
