I had the WOW in my solid-state system for a good while, then replaced it with the Straight Wire Serenade. In my system, the Serenade has more body, or natural tone. It is also cleaner in the bass and I think has more resolution and is more musical as well. I also tried an internal biwire set of the speaker wire, but it was less successful. I believe a double run would work very well however.
