Quite right, thanks for the suggestion.I tend to view Lexus as a bargain as it is the copper analogue to SOGON XL cable which is slighly North of $8k/1m stereo pair, but perhaps, to paraphrase Marty Feldman (EYE-gore) in Young Frankenstein, (that view requires) "an abby-normal brain."
So, for the normal-brained, the saner options include:
AN-D - 4N copper terminated w/silver plated banana plugs - US$60/1m stereo pair, $30/addtl meter.
AN-Ba - 4N copper term. silver plated bananas or spades - $100/1m stereo pr, $60/addtl m.
AN-La - 4N litz copper, term same as above - $160/1m stereo pr, $120/addtl m.
AN-Lexus XL - 4N litz copper, term as above - $376/1m stereo pr, $226/addtl m.Any length may be purchased with any combination of termination, except for AN-D which is always banana terminated at both ends. Bi-wired sets are also available, as are mono runs
Follow Ups:
Wow! the price of Lexus exploded! Your site lists it at $226 per meter $150 for each additional meter. Damn inflation.

Well, no, actually my web site says the stereo meter of raw cable is $226.
Termination is an additional $150, which is where the $376 in my post comes from.
Cost of addtl length isn't mentioned at all.
Obviously the set only gets terminated once, so each addtl meter of wire is $226.It has been at that price since it was introduced, I believe.

Yes, my mistake, or maybe some wishful thinking. Who does the teminations for the cable? Factory or dealer? I hate spending a lot of money on cable, but it appears to be inevitable. Thanks
FYI currently using some mogami speaker cable biwired, and enjoying the music however have no way of knowing how much better my system can sound.

For the U.S. market, the cable is factory-terminated. That may vary elsewhere. One of the more startling cable demos I ever did was for a customer who built installed Fostex FR speakers in a simple BR cabinet. We started with D, moved up through Ba and La with predictable decent improvement at each step, but when we moved to Lexus the sound quality absolutely surged upward. We were both a litle taken aback, so we moved back down to La, listened to a wide variety of sources, then up to Lexus again. Same outcome.
The customer was very surprised and chagrined. He had been rooting for there not to be much difference so he could go with the less expensive cable, but hearing is believing . . .
