Hi All,How would a 1620PP work for a circuit like that shown? If it would, what pins would you wire where? What about a DHT or DHP? If so, AC or DC filaments?

Hi Michael,
You may wan't to take a look at the data sheet for the LL1620CFB.
This is a variation of the LL1620 which incorporates additional coils to support cathode feedback arrangement as per your cct.
I have a cct which uses a Tango XE-45-5 which appears to be similar to th LL1620CFB although I have never been able to find the Tango specs to compare.
Good luck, Russell

Hi Russell,As it happens I have the 1620 on hand, but not the 1620cfb. The datasheet for the cfb would seem to show the phasing of the hookups as would work for the 1620. I have played a bit with a couple of amps with cfb, but never the full balanced load treatment. Just sort of casting about for something to put on the bench and try. Definitely in the dark as to how AC heated filament tubes can be worked into this scheme.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. I have only read about cfb and never tested or built anything using this topology!
I have a cct I'll email to you (I can't paste it here) which show a connection for AC filaments using the Tango XE-45-5 I mentioned. However the question remains, Would the LL1620/PP work with your cct? Would the LL1620CFB work for both?
Cheers, Russell
Russell,Got the circuit, thanks. So all I need is a couple of pairs of 2.5VCT, 6.3VCT and 10VCT filament transformers and I am ready to try all comers, eh?
