You have a sharp eye. The schematic is indeed version-one of the Mood Indigo Line Stage. This SET version has now evolved to be a differential version using the 6N1P. You could use such a line stage in your case where the TX-102 needs gain and lower impedance.
Follow Ups:
Dave,Is the version-one Mood Indigo linestage as shown "proven/bug free" or is there another schematic that is proven.
Could you use a 6922/7308 in place of the 6H30. Reason is that I have quite a few of these tubes
That schematic is proven. It has since evolved but it was good as it was. I have not tried the 6922 in the circuit but have tried the 6N1P which I liked better than the 6H30. If you change the tube you will have to change a few other things also. First, the current regulator shown for the filament must be adjusted to the value needed for the tube you choose. Second, the plate current must be set to an appropriate value for the tube chosen. The pot in the schematic does this. Third, given the plate current used, the cathode bias resistor must be adjusted to provide the correct bias voltage for the operating point you have chosen with the current.
