Thanks racerguy. That worked. I don't understand what you mean by PPCM though. Another question: Are you telling me that I should always leave the Toshiba on DVD-Video? Or, do I need to toggle between Video and Audio according to what kind of disc I'm using? There are all kinds of new DVD's out there today. For instance: Dual-Discs, pure DVD-Audios, DVD's etc. How does one know what one is listening to. I've owned my Toshiba for about four years, but never used it for Audio. I had it connected to a video system only. Recently I decided to remove it and put it in my dedicated Audio system. I'm replacing it with a Blu-Ray for video. No wonder SACD is the preferred choice among audiophiles. So many questions, sorry. John
