I have a Toshiba SD9200 DVD-A player; wonderful machine, when it's not noisy. I purchased the Beatles new "Love" CD and DVD-Audio Disc, and I'm a bit confused. On the album jacket it says: PCM Stereo, DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital 5.1. Now here's what happens when I play the disc: I don't get any "audio" choices, as I do on many other discs. I'm listening only in two-channel, no multichannel here. There is an "audio" button on the remote which allows you to choose your preference. When I hit the button the information say DTS 5.1 etc., etc,. I cannot change the audio to two-channel 24/96. Am I missing something here? Has anyone experienced similar problems? Is the CD mislabeled. Why do they have to make DVD-Audio so difficult? Thanks.
