It's actually buzzed for a while now, it's nothing new, I've just been ignoring it. It seems to have gotten slightly worse though now that they are being used again. I think it's a mid panel lift... the very last wire at the end of the panel. I can see where the glue is cracked along the edge of the wire and when I gently touch the panel there it makes crackly noises.
So what to do? I'm not 100% certain that's where the buzz is coming from. On top of that I'm not technically inclined or skilled to do any kind of panel repair. If it's just a matter of layering some kind of glue on top of that spot then yeah I could maybe handle that... but I've read the repair articles.... that I'm not able to do!
They're gunned... so I'm not sure if having magnepan refurbish the panel is an option? Or since they are gunned if Mr. Gunn would do repairs?
Can you just buy replacement panels from Magnepan?
Should I just ignore it until it gets bad enough to warrant a refurb?
help me out here!
thx
Danielle
