You say you've read the repair articles. I've not done it myself but in principle is seems fairly simple. Use the acetone to carefully clean away the original adhesive in the area(s) where wire has separated. Then apply minimal amount of DAP (trusting GL's recommendation) to re-glue the wire to the mylar. Since the "wired" side of the panels is exposed on the back side of Gunned versions it seems like a simple enough process.

Think of it as an "arts and crafts" project! ;^)
