Hi,The source impedancefrom the WE 310A Pentode used in the 91 Schematic is very high and current used is fairly low. That means that the result may be that with the gridchoke the bandwidth is constrained (bass and treble rolled off). If it's there already trying it out will cost nothing, I do intend to have a bash myself later....
