The move took about 3 hours including refinishing the underside of the top plate (400 grit wet/dry + mineral spirits + elbow grease) left a decent finish. I may have a shop polish the top out but maybe not. Sonically the difference is clearly audible as a greater solidity and stability to the image and a lessening of bass blurring. On first listen the table sounded leaner but extended listening revealed no lightening of the bottom end but an improvement in articulation that seemed lighter but was in fact more tuneful and bouncier. |

Yes, the Ninja mod was Mana's take on turbocharging the LP12. |
