Hi,

I write in German, otherwise I have to search for terms for too long... translation should not be a problem. I got a lot of great information from the forums that I now want to share how I improved my Maggies 3.7i.

Frequency:
External setup with Jantzen, Clarity, Duelund and Mundorf components, all values as original. Wiring with Neotec-Solidcore copper.

Wiring:
Directly from the connections to the panels with Duel and Coherent Audio, i.e. the original switch is unchanged. Reconstruction to original condition possible at any time. Instead of the miserable staples is an aluminum strip (nail, not screw!) with some carpet tape installed underneath.

Change of sound:
More space and very nice bright timbres, voices sound even more realistic. Compared to the original 3.7i certainly an improvement but no other speaker, the 3.7i is just so very good. But there is more...

Acoustic coupling:
The speakers stand on a wooden platform made of OSB records, bass unfortunately somewhat bold and imprecise. Now with slate plate, audio plan antispikes and ceramic balls for coupling.

Sound change:
Unexpectedly big and good: Super tighter, tidy bass, no sharpening, hissing (P. Barber is always quite vulnerable) and even more transparency. It sounds like you've put an acoustic lens on. The effect is almost even greater than the better crossover, at significantly lower costs. Very big recommendation from me!
