Anyone interested in a killer 3.6r system and willing to drive to 23301, please reply. System is operational and ready for auditions, measurements, etc..Moving to Europe and can not take it with me. Next move would be to sell components individually and probably trash the 3.6rs.

1. Pair of Vintage Magnepan 3.6r restored by factory in 2020
2. Pair of triple GR Research 12 inch Open Baffle servo Hframe sub to with
Rythmik amp plate A370-XLR3
3. Schitt Freya Plus preamp
4. Pair of Bryston 7b ST amps
5. Bryston 10 B sub Pro xover
6. Cambridge Audio Azur 840C balanced upsampling CD player
7. Denafrips Ares II USB R2R DAC
8. Balanced cables and speaker cables
9. DYI sound panels

Trash the 3.6rs!?!? I still like my MGIII's alot and would expect the 3.6r to be a nice upgrade. I would take them if I was closer. I have friends not too far away from you but they would have no way to get them or store them for me. :(

Regards,

Steve

Unfortunately I live in a very isolated but serene part of Virgina, The Eastern Shore. Not going to find Maggies' aficionados around me. They need to be handled carefully, would never ship them. Other stuff I can ship.

I sorta get it, but please don't toss them.
There's got to be a better way, hopefully someone here will purchase.
Also maybe try Audiogon?
List them here.

Bet they'd buy 'em. Finally have a reason to use them cha-cha heels.

It will likely be difficult to find someone to take the whole system...but here is my offer if you are driving from far away:
- Bring a covered pick up and perhaps a friend
- Audition/test/measure
- I will feed you my home made pizza romana for dinner (with imported beer)
- Stay overnight in the basement- sleep on an air mattress, bring a sleeping bag
- I will help you load the components in the morning
- You drive back. Decide what to keep and what to sell if you wish.
We would agree on a price prior to you coming over after I send you pictures.

Plenty of people will drive to pick up the Maggies. Can you please let me know how to contact you about picking up some components? I sent you an email through audioasylum, but I'm not sure if you got it.

If you have the original boxes, they can be safely shipped via freight. I had mine sent back to Magnepan in the 20+ yr old original boxes strapped to a pallet (as per their recommendation). It did cost over $400 to ship them one-way from TX to MN, but it's very doable. After all, Magnepan has to be able to ship them to their dealers. If you call Magnepan, they can probably sell you new packing materials.

Emails through the system does not appear to work. I now have at least 8 offers for the open baffle subs!

Hey Shumi,

Sorry to hear you are selling your system. I hope you enjoyed it.

Good luck with your new venture.

Sincerely,
Tim

P.S.

You might also want to try listing some items on US Audio Mart.

The price of Danny's drivers and amps have gone up since you bought your system.

Might want to look at his current prices to gauge the current market value.

Hello,

What is the color scheme of the Maggie's and exactly what did the factory do to them in 2020?

Thank you,
Joe

Does anyone know if Shumi has moved already or otherwise sold off this equipment?
