I love my MLS and am driving them with an Adcom GFA 545 amp. For a number of reasons I need to simplify my system so I'm thinking of an integrated amp. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend one that is stable enough and sounds great, and has remote control.

In searching I have come across Musical Fidelity, and maybe AMC ( both British I think ) I'm looking primarily at second hand up to $1000 US

a Pass INT250, but that's out of your price range ... sure would make those loudspeakers sing, though ...

if you are going digital only I would recommend a real amp substantial amp - it can be vintage and a Pass B1 buffer instead of an integrated

maybe you can pick up a used Krell and the B1 can be built for a few hundred

I bought a Yamaha A-S301 because it was only $250 shipped from parts-express.com as I was looking for a backup. It's an integrated with a remote and gasp, tone controls, and also a direct through. At the time I bought it they had 3 different models at different power levels. 60w, 120, and such I don't remember what exactly. I bought the 60 watter.

It sounds marvelous after running it in and regret having not bought one of the more powerful models, they were not much more. Buy new and get a warranty, look for somewhere selling them. At least take a look, I'm serious- not a joke
