I've listened to a terrific sounding compact standmounter from TAD, no less! The TSM 300 is a twin 6 inch woofer in d'Appolito configuration with a horn tweeter. They are by no means hi-efficiency (they are rated at 88 db) but make sweet music for a very reasonable price (540 $ each, sadly almost twice here in Europe!). Any opinions on these?

Have listened to it briefly and was quite impressive with them too. Works alright even with 8W 300B. Happy listening!
