Audio Advisor and when I received them, I discovered they were converted export models and packed over seven months ago. Is it common to sell converted models? Nothing on their website mentioned this. Should I be upset/worried?

No, not at all. The only difference between US and Export is the internal power cartridge and settings used to make sure the voltage is correct. In some cases we get overstocked with export or domestic and we routinely convert one to another to meet the stock requirements of our dealers.
Exactly the same products.
