I need two long lengths of 12 guage speaker cable and was wondering if pro speaker cable would work as well or better as the standard home 12 guage speaker wire. Some of the pro speaker cable I'v seen has Neutrec plugs and I'd have to change them out for banana plugs etc. Appreciate any advice from the pros.

Our whole studio is wired with JPS Labs Aluminata and SC3. We also have JPS In-wall cable with JPS and Oyaide outlets.
Best regards,

Belden 12-gauge twisted pair. Done.
Or, you could buy unnecessarily expense stuff, and pretend you can hear a difference.

i agree,go to a electrical supply house and get a spool of 12ga cable and whatever ends you need.
for live sound you won't hear any difference between this and the over priced pre-made cables.
i bought a 250 ft spool for less than $80
