Hmm, didn't really answer my question... I've seen that list before, I was wondering about *how* the plate system for the transformers works. Are the plates available from you? Interesting to hear that the KT-88 is preferred in Japan. I'm not opposed to using pentodes, although I've always been a fan of the 6l6 variants (807, kt66, etc) moreso than the kt88. Has anyone liked particular transformers with the 300b as opposed to the KT88? What transformers come with the kit as standard? Thanks for any info...

Any transformer can be installed because there is an universial slide bracket to make such change possible
