Question here....Please pardon a stupid question but my knowledge in this area is shallow....Will the new Audio Research CD8 Reference player play the Reference Recordings new DVD-R disks which are 176/24 ??

no idea, but CD players - reference or no - do not generally play DVD discs of any flavor
