Hi,
I was looking at the schematic of the output stage to the DAC 3.1 and if the output is transformer coupled then what exactly is the caps doing there? I think Astrostar uses the V-Caps in that position. The output stage is a buffered stage according to the schematic.

i would imagine that a cap-coil in series becomes a band-pass. otoh, perhaps to flavor? or just to make sure no DC gets thru. just my opinion, though.
