Transformer options on the 3.1 DAC??

Hi Guys
Has anyone got any musical insight on the output transformer options from AN Kits?
I am ordering the 3.1 Signature, and am hovering about the standard IE Trans, upgraded IE or C-Cores.

I seems silly to buy the basic IE and later have to add in the C-Cores (left with the IEs)

Any help guys would be greatly appreciated.

BYW anyone upgraded from a 1.1 to the 3.1? What was the improvement (generally).

If the analog stage in the Dac can drive the load it is connected to comfortably, I see no need for output transformers. less is more.
