Questions about AN's DAC kit

Dear all,

I'm new in this fourm, and I am very interested in the AN's DAC kit, especially the transformer coupled output version. But something I want to verify is the tube driver board used in the 2.1C. Is the schematic of the driver board used in 2.1C same as the L3 preamp kit used? And anyone here have the exp. of mod the 5687 driver board to other tubes? e.g. TFK 6463

Yes its basically the same circuit although the input resistors are different for matching with the IV transformers - We have a really nice hardwired board with thick ground traces so if you want to experiment with a different tube its quite easy to do so - Let me know and we can provide you with the standard board along with the "prototyping" hardwired board

  Thanks a lot, Brain.
  The input resistor on the M3 line stage board that you quote means the I/V resistors, a 1W 200ohm tantalum, am I right? If yes, I can buy a pair of AN's trans 450 or Sowter 9762 and hardwire a M3 line trans. coupled output stage to upgrade my DAC2.0.
  Pls correct me if I'm wrong
