Synergistic Acoustic ART on extreme budget

Greetings,
For some reason I was looking at the Acoustic ART objects, and frankly at $750 for one piece, I was curious if a reasonable facsimile would suffice.
Thrift store find, some small brass cups/bowls that ring when tapped (see photo)attached to a couple a pieces of one by four separated by a piece of half inch copper pipe--throw on some brass supports and voila $750.00 ART now discounted to $2.50. These are what they call the "bass stations" as I have not yet duplicated the "Vibratron"(read Voodoo) except to use the bass stations in it's place.
I made three of the bass stations and put a few other small round bowl things--even a small wine glass that rings when tapped, at various points in my "listening environment".
Like my homemade Shakti Hallowgraphs, now that I have these in my system, I don't want to do without them. The how's and why's of what makes them work is less important than the fact that my ears tell me otherwise. They work, at least my knockoffs work well enough for me.
I was very skeptical even about trying this tweak and I felt a little foolish, but curious. I used K.D. Lang's "Ingenue" as a reference because it is so well recorded and has strong and deep bass and an ethereal (voodoo) quality. What I am hearing is...hummm, usually I would say stronger, clearer, cleaner, but, more voodoo. The soundfield has opened up in a way that sounds more (for lack of a better term) organic. For instance, there are times when I am listening to (a cd) and because of the recording the air/music in the room feels kind of pressurized, but in a good way that sounds more compelling, full and vibrant.
That is what I am hearing.
Please, again before all you naysayers poo-poo what I'm saying, try it for yourself. Yes, it is subtle, but it is also noticeable and potent. I just ordered some small brass bowls for $14 on Ebay to further this outrageous expenditure on tweakdom. (See URL for that reviewers thoughts and pics.)
Thanks.
