Re: How many inmates have actually met other inmates because of the Asylum?

Hola Neil:

Now that you mentioned it, I met CVega because of my friend GC, who is an inmate and I didn't noticed. GC and I know each other for several years and basically by commercial business. One day he came to my house and noticed that I have a music system and he start talking about it. Because of him I entered the Asylum. Later, I knew CVega for various postings and we conclude that both new GC, so, we met at his house, which is about 30 miles from my home and since we shaked hand we knew we were audio-related!!! Man, we talked and laugh like old friends and his family is great. Now we mantain a good relationship between our own families (3 kids each).

One day, AudioGabby replied one of my post and we start shating. When we start questioning our procedense we were shock to know that we are both from Puerto Rico ( he is leaving in Vernmont) and he came to his family's house twice a year. He is also about 25 miles from my home. We met at CVega's home one day. To our surprise, AudioGabby and CVega studied at the same town and knew each other and he and I studied at the same college. Imaging what a coincidence.

The strangest part of it, CVega, AudioGabby, GC and I(Jose Garcia) are of same age 40-42,and live about 15 min to 35 min from each others house.

Now that I'm moving and AudioGabby is coming back on November I will give a big party to all my audiophile friends ( don't worry my wife likes the idea).

I have made several internet friends that I would like to know personally but maybe sometime, in the future, when the Asylum makes it's First Anual Inmate Meeting at any convention center, we will met.

Here's and idea. Why not make different Audio Asylum Society Groups representing several areas. That's is basically what we are doing here in our country. There are many inmates from California, Chicago, New York, U.K. etc. Each region can contact each other and have representation on shows, conventions and other type of activities. It is easier that way to have new equipments for audition at their places and have interesting meetings and discussions oriented to the audio hobby.

Just my thoughts,

regards,

Jose Garcia.
