Could use a pair of these shallow frame (2.5" depth) drivers, or
something else that would fit, but doubt that. These are
console cabinet "wing" extension speakers. The 2 "drop-in"
hinges made the +/- connection! No joke. Never seen that before.

Need the drivers, not cabinet. Other than Ebay, an other tips?.

Look like 1962 era (29th week), Rola speakers (EIA 285). I don't have any data on the speaker or where you could get replacement.

You may need to build an adapter and fit an 8 inch woofer. Or a full range 6 X 9.

Grundig and Telefunken both made oval shaped drivers of similar size that were used in their console and remote speakers. You might still have to find them on the Bay, but they should be a lot more plentiful.

Thanks guys. Yes it's a Rola....and I do happen to have a pair
of older 8" silver frame 8" drivers that are shallow enough
(2.5" depth) to fit the skinny cabs. Ceramic mag, alnico would
be too deep, unless in front of the cone like the Rola.

I did fine a completed sale of the Rola on ebay, they went
for $28. or so, wish I could have got them. More will show up
I imagine.
