$500.00 is cheap. I have sold some for over a grand. Lots of vinyl with that sort of money. Now who's crazy. As for having to be rich to purchase the cleaner, you do the maths.US$25.00 makes 8-10 litres compared to US25.00 for half a litre for some product I know of.
Rich, no you don't have to be rich to use my cleaner just smart.

i'd have to say your customers are the ones who are crazy. :)watch out for that your/you're homonym pair. it's a tricky one!
i don't believe my parents paid over $5-10 for any of ours growing up.then again, the AUD is weaker... ;-)
if you're making $500 per bird, it's actually worth your time NOT to clean records and just buy off-the-shelf solutions...but i presume you aren't selling too many of them.
actually, i'm not a huge believer in record cleaning. i genrally don't play trashed vinyl, and the experiments i've done (admittedly none within the last 6-7 years) proved to me that the improvement was not worth the effort (for me). i'd just rather listen to music than spend time cleaning record. i'm not obsessive 'bout it.
but good luck to you. i'm sure many are sorry that you seized the opportunity to mention your DIY cleaner again. we all know about it -- you've done a job of self-promotion here.
Supply and demand decides the price. What makes an lp worth more than another or one turntable worth more than another. Then again I would have thought that you would have known that especially as you profess to collecting Blue Notes. Maybe I will have to reaccess things.
As for self promotion I thought the object here on the asylum was to try and help others and if you look at the earliest posts regarding OCRVC you will note that that was all I did. It took other dropkicks to start attacking which led the whole thing to become an embarrassment to the forum. Oh and every now and then I will continue to plug how good it is and I am sure that the few dozen or so people in the US and UK that are using it feel the same. Then again why am I telling you as you don't clean lp's.

never professed to "collecting Blue Notes" -- I am not a collector but a jazz lover.you can "reaccess things" [sic] all you like.
with the price of parakeets so low, it is particularly curious as to why (a) anyone buys them and (b) why you don't spend full-time doing it and sell them like hot cakes. (must actually be very low demand at that price) if you could actually sell many of them at that price, then you wouldn't need to worry about money!
Then again why am I telling you...
i have no idea, yet i'm sure you will do so again.i don't know the history of your posting, but i saw in the period of a few months how many times you post about the same thing.
to bring this back to vinyl, it was sort of a 'broken record', so to speak.
