Just one question about the bevel on the left side. If I understand correctly I can just take my router and trim it down half way?Is that enough. Did I understand it?
I'm going out to get a piece of wood and and veneer after woork. I'll probaly stain it the same as the base.
For those who want the Inch conversions
11.5 x 4 3/16 and 7/16" thick 1/2" should work.
Follow Ups:
The top is 105mm - the bottom is 100mm . The difference is the angle. It's a 2mm flat edge, then about a 30 degree angle in.
The inch conversion sizes you have there are a tad on big side. Just in case you have invested in expensive or exotic wood.
I'm pretty handy, but might not have th eright tools for that. Do you think this is someting I can do with a router?Or maybe I should just cut up the stock board. (It has a TP16 on it)
By any chance are you making one?
Thanks again
It's not crucial to get the angle exact. Yes, it could done with a router or an angled top table saw.
Certainly nothing wrong with using your old one and altering as needed. No, I'm not making one yet. But looking into some padauk wood or similar.
