What wire/material is the best to use for a phono interconnects
Follow Ups:
I use Monster Silver Video (super low Z) on one of my phono rigs. It's a fine sounding cable.
At present I'm evaluating a new TelWire cable (silver connectors) and the sonics are stunning also. I might convert some of my older Straight Wire and XLO cables to TelWire.
Whichever costs more, that is the best to use for phono interconnects.
The first thing that should be considered I feel is consistency of the wiring.I believe ideally you should choose to be all silver or copper etc. of the same type in the system. For phono interconnects my reasoning tells me copper should be the best and it must be solid-core maybe 24awg-30awg(Hard-wired).I am using my own recipe of short 24awg solid-core silver.
