If so, what tracking force do you use? The brush doesn't seem to exert the same pressure as the original Shure, so I don't know if adding .5g is too much. I've asked the question to JICO but never received an answer, and it's not in their literature.Actually I had a SAS and busted it (It wasn't behaving so I had to teach it a lesson). I was running it at 1.5g with the brush down, but didn't know if that was too much or not enough. I was debating getting another one or trying Ed Saunders elliptical version for $75. Any thoughts on that?

somewhere between .9 and 1.0 with excellent results with the brush down. With the SAS this is the best sound I have ever had from my vinyls. To me this was always one of the possitive aspects of Shure cart. that they did not need a heavy tracking force. Hope this helps.
a humble Rega P2/w glass platter and I am very satisfied with the sound I get.
