Chris' customer service is amoung the very best. I bought a 265 when they first came out a number of years ago and a friend of mine that knew a lot about LP-12's wanted to set it up for me. He thought there was an issue with the table. Chris flew into Boise at his expense to make things right. There are more examples to back this up. His dedication to his turntables and customers are second to none IMHO.
I bought a Teres 255 and later a black Moerch DP-6 from Chris last year. Good communications, no problems. He even offered a black anodized VTA adjuster (not an advertised option) to match the Moerch, which I'll have to say looks great... so I have no complaints.Have you seen the Teres warranty statement?
I don't own a Teres turntable, but Chris Brady's reputation is one as an audiophile, not just some company owner. He started the company from a DIY project, so that means his heart is in it. That alone goes a long way in my book.
