I know this is Young's album, but I prefer Rivers's playing & Jones's riding the cymbals...Also, though it's clearly not, the cover always reminds me of the Guggenheim.
Follow Ups:
I'm always ready to trade a copy of Aja for this. Yes, step right up...
That Larry Young stuff isn't on any R2D4 I've ever seen. Or on the TAS list. At least with the Dan, ya got somethin' to hold on to.Don't go getting all wack on us, pal. There's a reason they aren't making those old records anymore.
...the aja or dire straits posts get much more response from the crowd.
yes, both!
...so i guess maybe i should be taking more advantage of these trade offers!i only want audiophile virgin vinyl 1/16-speed mastered with mid-bass bumped recordings, though! :)
can you sweeten the deal with jazz at the pawnshop -- or anything else with clinking glasses and forks? ;-)

I was totally knocked out when I first heard it back in the early 70's in college and it's been in REGULAR rotation for over 30 years around my place.
if so, it's my favorite on the album, for sure. the music's pretty easy to get into. he was definitely "onto somethin'"...as well as, perhaps, "into somethin'". :)
