The icecream maker motor sounds like a good idea. It would be slower than a TT. Really, after playing with it I think a DC motor hith high torque and about 8 rpm would be ideal.

I really like that cabinet concept. If you don't mind think I'm going to piggy back on that idea. Area for storage of supplies and it looks great. Nice RCM.
I don't think THAT cabinet is still available, but I'm sure there are others that would do. The wheels are nice for getting it out of the way and having all the supplies self-contained is a plus to.
Was not thinking of THAT exact cabinet. My thoughts more on the line of going to the local Habitat for Humanity and finding a used sink cabinet to mod that has some nice wood or veneer. You never know what you'll find. But I was thinking that really affords some ease of use. Nice set up.
