Now I've heard it said that Jimi Hendrix was the first to experiment with feedback and pushing those Marshall amps to the limit. But wait a minute the guitars on this album was...well should I say it...."trippy". Especially after trying to figure out the mouse maze on the orginal sleeve cover. At anyrate a real nice listen, definitely a trip in the way back machine.
Follow Ups:
Now you need to listen to Bless Its Pointed Little Head.
Crown of Creation - another gem IMHO

Agreed. Grew on me as it came out, became intertwined with my life in those days, and still gets played from time to time. One of those where I usually play the whole album side, and become lost in my memories if I'm not careful....I still have the original pressing with the insert picture of the dog Brumus, plus the CD.
but..... There were two Jefferson Airplane in the SA bin. The other "Bless Its Pointed Little Head". The cover on it was rougher, but not too bad. I haven't cleaned it yet but I'm eager to give it a spin. I remember the Bathing lp from high school days in a friend's older brother's collection.
This album is the epitome of what real rock was all about in those days.It is also their best album.
