The M&K "audiophile" Lps are silly priced. I suggest that you buy the
M&K Sampler. They sell for around $30 on ebay and have the good cuts
off of the high priced M&Ks.
Can't figure out why they are so cheap, other than they are not in vogue.
I picked one up for $3.00 and and well satisfied with it.I've linked one on ebay. Probably doing the seller a huge favor, lol.

I have some of the M&K Realtime catalog including this sampler and they are hit and miss. I don't think any of them are supposed to represent music as high art but they are good demo discs. Flamenco Fever is not on the sampler but I would love to secure the record from which a gospel cut called "Dem Bones" is taken.I have been buying records from the bricks and mortar version of the seller's store since the early 80's and they consistently have reasonably priced stuff in stock that you'd never find at the thrift store. At least they did...

I haven't played Flamenco Fever or Encore in a number of years so I guess I'll get them out and make a CD-R.
the full M&K records are direct-to-disk (which they pride themselves on). i presume the samplers are not D2D as, by definition, the D2D's are recorded as a full side on-the-spot, not piece-meal.could that be why the samplers sell for less $$? (not that $30 is cheap)
