"Spirit Chaser" double LP. Mighty fine sonics and suitably eerie music. I love side 4 with the leadout groove thats about half the disc wide...Good to see some of the old timers still here on VA. Been away for a while making some big lifestyle changes! ...in a new home with my whole record library in cases in the LR (final count is about 2500 discs)., my Denons a-spinning and a smile on my face.

Welcome back! The only Dead Can Dance I have is Into the Labyrinth, which I really enjoy, but unfortunately, only on CD. It is a real system tester, and great music as well.
I have a post a few line downs about the exact same album. Really great stuff. My one year old and wife came down to my listening room and we danced to an an album side. My one year old was looking all around the room trying to find all the strange noises flying around. He was quite amazed.
Disappointed in most of them, they have a skip or warp i could not detect visually. But did find a Beales hits (Blue) and a Johnny Rivers that cleaned up real noce and sounds good. The Rivers, caught me by surprise, it really sounds great. On the Liberty label.
At a $1 each, I'm happy!

I was wondering what happened to you. It hasn't been the same around here without you.Do you know when the next Lake City show is scheduled?
I am envious of your DCD album. I only have their music on cd and tape.
It's on ceedee, but I thought I've give the music a try after reading about it here.
If you check my recent posts, I've delved headlong into vintage, Russco to be exact. You were into vintage long before many of us here. My son (texanater) now posts here since you last lurked.Often, when newbies post, I'll think, they need to hear mr. bear's words of wisdom about engaging the journey of vinyl, not just the sound it affords. And when I recently posted about my Russco table's incredible delivery on Mahavishnu's Visions of the Emerald Beyond, I thought, you know, mr. bear would appreciate this.
You've not been forgotten my good man. Good to see you back.
