With a little work I really think this table could be very nice to look at. My first project will be to get the motor lubricated, and a new belt and cartridge. After that, I may play with the arm, but I doubt I'll change it.Add the Marantz amp I found today for $10 (With phonostage) and a pair of speakers and I've got a second system for me "rough" vinyl.
I may even pass this down to my son when he gets old enough.

It sucks....big time. I tried to love mine but the bass is wooley and the highs are non existant. If you work for a radio station this is all you need since FM is 30-15khz. Am is even worse.A modified Rega will get you jamming big time. Plus there are lots of other great used tonearms out there that can do the Pabst motor justice.
Man I'd love a Rega arm on this table. How hard would this be to do?Also, if you happen to know where I can buy a belt, that would be great.
If your up for a chat, please call me on skype anytime. I understand that you have a very similar table.
Perhaps we can skype next week.I have an idler to finish and three cable runs to build.
Try turntablebasics. Or The Turntable Factory perhaps.http://www.theturntablefactory.com/
That's a very nice table to restore, a lot of work but gratifying in the end.If I may suggest, use one of those 12" arms say a 3012.
Here is a webpage with suggestions on restoration for the ROK.
