I'd love to know the rest of your system. I am VERY interested in this phonostage to replace a little Creek MM phonostage in my system:VPI Scout/JMW-9/Benz Ace HO
CJ CA200 "control amp" (185 wpc integrated with passive line stage)
Renaissance Audio Group (formerly Morel Acoustics USA) PreludesI love the spead, neutrality, transparency and detail of the system, but the presentation is a hair on the lean side and am wondering if the Wright would flesh it out a bit.

Hi. Here's my system:VPI Scout with JMW9 arm, DV10x5 cartridge, Wright WPP200C phono preamplifier, Musical Fidelity A3.2 integrated amp., Totem Arro speakers.
Use to have a Bellari. Great for the money, but the Wright is a whole different ball game.
That is "bass" of course. Also, I should have said, "I've heard THAT the Wright . . ." (as I have never heard it). Finally, by "lean" I mean the Prelude's upper bass/lower midrange when matched with the CJ.
Seems like our systems may have somewhat similar sonic signatures. My Preludes are small floor standers with a similar profile, though they are a transmission line design. Very open and airy, and nice deeeep base, but slightly lean mated to the CJ CA200. I've heard the Wright, while not tubey sounding, has a nice big bold sound that could fit perfectly in my system. Can you describe a bit how you would characterize it's sound?
Well, I only got the Wright yesterday, so there's really not much I can do, besides telling you that it sounds full (not bloated), very natural. The instruments feel more real, the music flows with ease, effortlessly. Again, I hate to use all that subjective language, but what the hell.
Looking at your system, I cannot see how the Wright wouldn't be a match.
Cheers
