Hi Henry, from what I was told by Mark at Rogue I would be fine with anything from .08mv on up. So I was looking at the Dyna 20X-H special 1.0mv version, I am told that this would be a very good match for arm and TT. I have never heard a MC before, can you tell me if I am going to loose anything in the sound like bass response?
Follow Ups:
While I do not have the VPI tonearm, I do have a Rogue Magnum 99 and CineMag SUT. If you substitute the AU7 output tubes in the Rogue phono stage with AT7 tubes you will have great gain for a low output MC, like the Denon 103R which I use. For AT7 tubes I recommend 6201 tubes which are military spec AT7 tubes with reinforcing rods. My gain switch on the Rogue is set at the second notch from the bottom left. Volume control is set between 9 and 10 o'clock.

as is the CineMag and my Hagerman Cornet II.

I really cannot speak for the 20XH as I run a 20XL and love it. I'm told the HO version cannot hold a candle to the XL, but, again, that's others opinion.
If it were me, I'd go 10x5. It's half the cost of the 20XH and would give you a taste of MC sound at a bargain price. You could always resell it and recoup most of your investment.
The Dynas have great bass, so do not worry about that.
All that said, IMO, the SUT + LO MC is the way to go.
