I'm thinking of placing an AS order, and wanted to throw a Jazz reissue in there- something with great music and great sonics. What would you recommend?

If you like upbeat and lively this is a must have.
"Chet" is an excellent choice, but I'm not sure whether you wanted a standard reissue or one of the 45s (most of these are stunning and collectible, too)."Waltz For Debby" by the Bill Evans Trio is another excellent choice. Superb live recording and one of THE great jazz albums of all time.
Of those 45rpms still available, one of the best is "Monk's Music" by Thelonius Monk. Both the sound and music are astounding. In my experience, these 45s, once sold out, can be turned around and sold on EBay for at least double the price. I keep mine for listening, though.
This one is under most radars...but HIGHLY recommended.
If you like piano trios, I'd recommend the 45 RPM reissue of Bill Evans - Explorations. Awesome sound, awesome music.
On AS' Analogue Productions label. It's a Really Fine re-issue of one of Chet Baker's best records.
Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section .
I have this one as a regular $10 OJC reissue, but there's a 45-rpm version too. The sonics and performances are excellent, which is one of the reasons its usually out of stock.
