George Winston/December (we got a little rain, bluster and a tiny bit of cold yesterdee).
Over the years, had used very small gauge (magnet wire), with a few of my fullrange speakers/projects (Fostex). And the only reason I had the thermostat wire in place (two years now), was convenience and durability (I like easy). So on a lark, as a cross control, installed some smaller gauge in place of the thermo wire (single Cat 5 pull per leg). Spooky/creepy how quickly the music disappeared. Eval lasted less than a song and a half.

Greetings from Rob in the UK.
Damn that sounds fine....Should I play it again or play something new? This is what happens when the idler magic hits your listening room. You want the record to last forever.
I was listening to some Cannonball Adderly tonight and thinking man it was nice of these guys to come here and play for me tonight.
No semblance of listening to a stereo system. I was there at the recording.
Fun stuff these idlers.
Next time I head to Portland I plan to spend some time in the NW with Steve!

Very Nice!
Nice album. Probably better than Lovecraft, imo.
Picked up on my phone in Houston
Everybody answered, everybody answered but they won't say why
Then this dancer grabbed me down by the bus stop
And she said I'm takin' you with me to the Texas Rose cafe
I got a fast car, it's a jaguar, and I'll get you to the plane on time
Drinkin' Lone Star, play guitar, we'll have a real good time
I said love to be found in Austin,
Love to be found in Austin town,
I replied that I would try, but you see my time is not my own
'Cause when I was just a big time low ball fool
My friend Leroy came to me
He said look out your window
Does the first man you see look like me?
I'm sooooore displeasedSince that time I changed my mind
About the things I'm up to
Yet the things around me stay just the same
'Cause outside my hotel window is a sign that turns from red to green
It says chop suey and join the U.S. Marines

and recording it on a metal MA90 tape. Listening through the tape output while being recorded is such a pleasure.

just plain excellent!!!Part of a major folk score. Also got Volumes I-III of the 1959 Newport Folk festival and about 15 other obscure folk LPs. Spring is finally here.
"Curious Electric" pretty much sums up this interesting collaboration of Yes's Jon Anderson and Vangelis, actually best listened to with the volume turned way up!

Tnx for the rec, Old Dude and udders.
These came with a turntable purchase I just made. How can I resist but to give them a spin?(joking) But there are a few gems hidden in this pile. The albums are all mint, many sealed and unplayed. Hell, for free I'll take them. This is the entire collection of albums that the owner owned.

BB King live at the royal.
Finally found a copy of this at a local show earlier this month. Not in the best of shape but these are hard to come by even on ebay. Nice bit of heavy riffarama w/ early Alan Holdsworth and great John Hiseman tub pounding. Unique flip top cover w/ great psych paintings. Well worth the wait.
