Was just notified by Ebay my listing was canceled because of spamming. Item listed as original not MKII. I don't think it's spamming if the reference to "not" is refering to models of the same product & in this case a revision of the same model. I understand if you list a Thorens & state "not" Linn. & they wait 4 days to cancel my listing. Anyone else experience this? Just needed to vent.
Follow Ups:
I bid on an item and lost..I get a verified 2nd chance offer and use the buy it now option...two days later ebay I get this via email..The item does not even show up in "My ebay" page even though I paid for it using paypal thru ebay check out....there is no record of it except for the paypal transaction...so according to them the transaction never happened ..they did this retroactively mind you..no answers to my email. The listing in which you were a bidding participant:
200100567869 - *HI FI For ENTHUSIAST*Stereo System Set Up*AUDIO*Book*1
has been ended by eBay. Since the listing was ended by eBay, the transaction itself is null and void.
Due to privacy concerns, we cannot disclose the exact reason the listing itself was ended.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we thank you for being a part of the eBay trading community.
Regards,
If not notify PayPal that eBay ended this item and it is now nil and void and that you wish the payment reversed.

dealing with these robots for 9 bucks..I dunno maybe I will just on principle..
There has been a lot of ebay phishing out there. Whatever you do, don't reply to that message. Go to ebay directly by typing it in your browser and check your 'myebay' to see if there is anything posted. I got a phishing message earlier this week with the same crap. If you hold your mouse
cursor over the link on the Phish-o-gram, you'll notice that the URL link is to something other than ebay. Don't click on the bloody link though.
I wish that was the case. My listing was taken off of Ebay by my friends at Ebay Trust & Safety. We should all feel safer now.
