It appears from your photos that you are using the Rega alignment protractor; I had much better luck with Baerwald alignment. You can download a Baerwald protractor from the Vinyl Engine. Best of luck.

I've considered a wally protracter. Where can I find the one you mention?
Sorry for not providing the link. Here it is:http://www.vinylengine.com/manuals_tonearm_protractors.shtml
I really found Baerwald alignment to be my preference in the Rega arms, I hope that it enriches your enjoyment of vinyl.

Did you feel good after posting this? You asked me a question, I took time and posted you a picture. (I was being freindly, something many of you don't understand here)
Then you reply like a complete ass with a flippant (NT) response.
Would you like to finish off by telling me how poor and worthless my system is?
And how about icing on the cake? Tell me how great your system is and how little I know about audio. Thats what people like you do.
Do me a favor, if you dont like my post's stay the f out. Its just a mouse click away.

if you have tried a tubed phone preamp, several different cartridges that have got a fair following, on a table that does get 'some' level of respect WITH the psu, and you still don't get the vibe then you should probably leave it alone. No negatives on your system and no snideness otherwise.
I am not LIKE a complete ass. I AM one. Just ask John Elison.
i am glad you have finally admitted it.
