Is available on the vinyl format, I have searched and have come up empty.Thanks...
Follow Ups:
Sums up and mirrors my own feelings/findings about him , both as a terrific performing guitarist as well as one of today's most unique innovators.
On my current system his music is one of rich string tone with layering and first rate involvement, most music I listen to is good to excellent yet Bill Frisells is extraordinarily so!!! More, give me more!It really is a shame his catalogue is not available on vinyl, as his music sounds unbelievable on my Kora Hermes tubed DAC, Plinius SA102s in Class A etc.. and I'm lusting for that same sound on vinyl, fuller sound, richer string tone etc... If that's even possible!
Thanks again guys, but it looks kinda bleek...
BEST...
I think, off the cuff, that only the two ECM recordings and the live Gramavision set came out on vinyl. Maybe the Have a Little Faith set, on Elektra. Sadly, none of the Nonesuch records. If you ask me, Nonesuch could press all his records on vinyl--Brad Meldhau, too--and have no trouble selling them all. It's a pity...
Good luck. A Google search brought up a whole slew of sites, this one looked most promising.

If I had more money I'd soon be broke...but I'd have more LPs!
but I have some early stuff, collaboration called "Power Tools" with Melvin Gibbs and Ronald S. Jackson, Antilles, 1987. Also ECM
"Rambler" as leader with K. Wheeler and P. Motian '85, and "Bass Desires" with Marc Johnson (leader), Scofield and Erskine ECM '86.Good hunting,
