Ozzy sent in updates for his system page in the Systems Gallery. I bet that sounds sweet.Notice the wall mounted Promethius base supporting the Nott.
Public notice. I am looking for more systems to post in my Systems Gallery at The Analog Dept. The main requirement is that the system must be "vinyl capable".

it *so* not like a listening room. I'll wait until the galibier arrives though.
Yeah. I'd like to see some Galibier's in the "Systems Dept".Look forward to your photos.

...system anymore. Not that its my business but is this pic really recent? Montana's, then Magnepan's, then Vr4's, then.....is there anything that I miss?Anyways, impressive looking system! Clean but potent is my first impression. Thanks for posting the pic.
regards
Because they look awesome.
Go to the link and then read the system details.regards,

Nice gear there.
wall mounted + spikes above + plinth above thatI'm not sure what question to ask. Are those springs lively? And what if they are?
.
Looks to be the Promethean Base from our friends at Machina Dynamica. You know, of 'Brilliant Pebbles' and 'Clever Little Clock' fame (not to mention the (in)famous 30.00 outlet cover).
Yes they are lively. But passive, as in not controlled by any electronic means.
They are designed to bounce at a frequency less than 3 hz. But the more weight you place on them the slower they bounce. All springs are like that.
yeah, but the table looks like it is not compressing those sprins so much so htat is what struck me that that might be a very livley settup.
Not sure what you mean by "lively"?I had the Promethean Base in my old room with very springy floors and it worked magic, no footfalls at all and better sound. I wasn't going to use it in the new room, which is on a slab. But when I tried it the improvement was pretty dramatic, so it stayed.
Only going by the way it looks. It just looks very 'springy'. Probably works great it just looks like "hey man, there are big springs under there. wow. i wonder if that is real sp;ring" ... kind of thing. First impression.
I guess we'd have to see the springs unloaded. To me it looks like the springs are depressed within the working range.-Steve
