Greetings all! After surviving spring break w/ the kids @ home, I got to go vinyl hunting yesterday. Most of the following were in the stack of records the shop owner had just taken in and was checking out...
1. The Horace Silver Quintet - the Tokyo Blues, Blue Note 4110 (a 'deep grove' I believe, kinda worn but jacket is nice)
2. Gene Harris and his Three Sounds - Elegant Soul, Blue Note BST-84301, jacket and sleeve have seen better days but record is good), stamped "Promo"
3. Cannonball Adderley Quintet in Chicago, Mercury SR60134, both jacket and record very nice shape
4. John Coltrane - Live at the Village Vanguard Again!, Impulse A-9124, mono, jacket and record decent
5. Nat Adderley - to the ivy league from Nat, EmArcy MG 36100, jacket and record both decent
6. Jazz Jam Session w/ Lockjaw Davis, Coleman Hawkins, Oscar Pettiford, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Red Norvo, Palace PST-675
7. Steely Dan - Greatest Hits
Follow Ups:
it might be your best deal of the year. Very nice.
This is the kind of catch which will engender musings on cleaning fluids. Cleaning fluids and methods are the free jazz of topics.
Those titles suck! I have most of them so they must suck. If they didn't suck, I wouldn't have them and thus I would tell you they suck in order to get them from you, but I don't want them! But, if your garbage can is too full for you to toss them in, I can make room in mine.
Excuse me, but did the above words make any sense to you? They don't to me, but I thought I'd check.

If I had more money I'd soon be broke...but I'd have more LPs!
must have missed the post telling all of us to avoid these... :)have a good 'un, MM!
