...heard him as a sideman on cecil taylor's 'unit structures'.he had only 2 recordings as a leader in the late '60s -- the one pictured above and 'black rhythm happening'.
of the 3 records mentioned, it may not be the "best" but i listen to 'ghetto music' the most.

my copy is a mono, too. i'm wondering where you generally draw the line between BN monos & stereos. this is one of my "latest" (in terms of recording date) mono. then again, 4264 was the last mono release that i know of.
i dig that cover alot. i was going to post it above, but limited myself to one. (i was thinking of posting it tomorrow.) glad you jumped in! somene else post 'black rhythm happening' as i can't post without violating my limit! :)
