Thanks !Out of curiosity, wouldn't "PRAT" only be affected by turntable speed? How can a cartridge affect pace, rhythm, and timing?
PRaT is a meaningless term when applied to an audio system. Musicians have PRaT, not audio systems. However, many vinyl enthusiasts feel that their vinyl systems are responsible for producing PRaT. You be the judge.

My 2 cents... I think that each component in a vinyl front end will affect PRaT. Cartridge/tonearm changes (and especially mismatches) seem to highlight this effect on my Garrard 401 and on my belt drive deck. I've put tonearm/cart combinations that had excellent PRaT on one table and horrible on the other.
