Any special markings or number. Are the mounting holes like a QLM36 as my QLM36 the hole isn't complete it lets you slide the cartridge into the screws. Is there a diffrence between a silver body or Gold body XLM?
Thanks.

I ask because when looking at the body of a QLM36 vs an XLM only thing I noticed diffrent was as I mentioned in my previous post was the mounting holes on the body. There has to be something one can go by when looking at used cartridges to know it's an XLM body.
I have an XLM MK1-non-connected mounting holes. My MKII had connected holes...both cartridges gold. I also have an all black cartridge & the stylus says XLMIII in silver with Omni Pivot Improved written on the top of the cartridge...no clue what actual model it is.
