I was looking at a seller trying to get the big picture and boom, I get this message:" eBay has blocked access to feedback. Toolhaus is unable to obtain information which is available only to registered eBay users. We're not happy about this."
I am pissed,

Besides, it is quicker to do, and Firefox is far superior to Internet Explorer, anyway.

You must be a registered eBay user. I got exactly the same message as you until I signed in to my ebay, now it works.
Seriously, with power sellers with loads and loads of feedback, what a picture we get then, and so much less gambling...
No problems using Toolhaus.
It still worked for me last night. Not this morning, though. RIP Toolhaus (until Mr. Toolhaus figures another workaround, I guess).
That message is the same message that is displayed when you enter a non-existing Ebay-ID. So I think this is actually Toolhaus's problem - not a change in Ebay policy. All normal Ebay-ID's works as normal, but ID with exclamation marks or dash (e.g. retro-audio2040) does not work. As another indication of this, try using the bettercom.de link referenced from Toolhaus - they handle vinyldazed!!! and retro-audio2040 without any problems. So not "evil Ebay" this time :-) Just a simple correction for Toolhaus to make (plus removing that totally wrong error message).

is that, as a registered eBay member, they have granted me the right to use that data to benefit me in my eBay dealings. Do they then have the right to say what I use to access the data? I could write my own program to do what toolhaus did. Can they stop me? I don't think so, but it's just my humble opinion :-)

Having thousands of feedbacks filtered for my convenience was really nice.In seconds ToolHaus.org made it possible to distill the essence of a high volume seller.

...of the list; thereby saving one a lot of search time.

using e-bay on a seller with mucho FB takes forever.

With the software problems Ebay already has with scammers.. and copyright issues, I don't blame them. If your getting Ebay information outside of Ebay, I would hope it's blocked.
and I don't believe there was any "classified" info there. As you say, the same info is available on the bay site, but it often entails scrolling through pages and pages of FB. Ebay isn't doing this for our safety, they just don't want anyone helping to disrupt sales, and although I can understand that from a business perspective, it still bothers me.

And for that matter, I care, because I don't want anyone messing with my account... this software obviously is nothing to worry about, but, look at all the problems associated with ebay accounts and piracy.
I would forego a little "easier" for more security.

I imagine it will now do them disservice, since fewer buyers will now take any chances on lesser than 100% positive seller.Whereas with Toolhaus one could quickly see the nature of the issues and how the seller dealt with these...
